For thirty-three years Galway Community Pride has supported the LGBTI+ community every year with a celebration and parade.
It hasn’t always been plain sailing and there have been many ups and downs along the way but no matter happened there has always been an event to recognise Galway Pride. Even during COVID we had a parade!
From the small humble beginnings os Nuala Ward and her friends, to the 2022 parade of approximately 4000 people marching through the streets, Galway Pride will continue to support the LGBTI+ and work with other agencies to ensure the wellbeing of our community.
