TABÚ is delighted to be part of this year’s @galway.pride events
The infamous @orla_littleo and @sleepyhea__d will be providing the tunage accompanied by fabulous Queer performances.. more on that later!

Event will take place in @electricgalway’s new venue The Space, a full private venue with two bars, dance floor, own smoking area and wheelchair accessible.
10pm til 2.30am
General admission €15 but there will be chances to get cheaper tickets if you book early
TABÚ is driven by creating safe and inclusive dance floors with an ever growing and developing safety and welfare initiatives including a Code of Conduct, Welfre Stewards, spiking kits, gender neutral toilets and more.

Reel Lives - Trans voices in film
Join us for an evening of powerful storytelling and visibility as part of Galway Pride 2025. Reel Lives: Trans Voices in Film celebrates the richness, diversity, and complexity of Trans lives through the lens of short film.
This curated screening features ‘Over the Moon’, a poetic Irish short written by Kai Donohoe & Rory Fitzpatrick which captures a young Trans person’s journey toward self-acceptance, and ‘As Human As I Am’, a deeply moving documentary by Alice McDowell that captures the global struggle for Trans rights and dignity.
But this is just the beginning. We’re now inviting Trans filmmakers, artists, and storytellers to submit their short films for inclusion in this special evening. Whether your work is documentary, experimental, narrative, animation, or somewhere in between - we want to hear your voice and see your vision.
Let’s amplify stories that are too often silenced. Let’s fill the screen with truth, resilience, and joy!

What is forest bathing?

Forest Bathing is a health promoting, nature connection practice that aims to enhance wellbeing, relieve stress and encourage relaxation.
This is an immersive & mindfulness experience supported by nature and the environment that surrounds us.
Some studies have shown that time spent in nature could reduce blood pressure, lower cortisol levels and improve concentration and memory.
As you walk through the forest, you are breathing in phytoncides which is a chemical released by trees and plants found to boost the immune system.
Through this guided walk and various invitations, we ground ourselves in the present moment, awaken our senses and open up to the wholeness of our ecosystem. Each one of us may notice or explore something different through this journey together and you will be invited to share your experience with the group if it feels right for you.
