Meet our 2024 Galway Pride Committee!

We are excited serve the community this year, and pleased to meet you all.

Our theme is “Solidarity in Action” which has shaped our approach to this festival.

We are delighted with the amazing array of events scheduled over nine days.

In times rife with division and the reality of horrific experiences around Ireland and the world, it is essential that we come together as a community. Being around others who fight for and uphold our basic human rights can both heal the soul and combat isolation. Join us in taking action to further this cause and look after one another.

Pride was and continues to be a protest. We can not forget that. This year we honor and embrace the Palestinian community. This Pride’s Grand Marshall is the Galway Palestine Solidarity Campaign. The work this group does in and around Galway has been a source of hope, inspiration and protest.

We have also partnered with shOut! this year to have a Youth Grand Marshall, Ellie. It is hugely important that we honor our young people. We must create a community and world they feel safe and welcome in.

We truly hope you get something special out of this Pride, and that in many different ways, you feel Solidarity in Action.
